After reading some of the Linux Chix FAQs, http://www.linuxchix.org/content/docs/faqs/, it sounds like something that I would encourage women to join. At the same time, I get a totally different feel from the Philly Chix site. Is this difference intentional?

The Philly group seems to be more exclusive than the one I mentioned earlier, in that the Triangle Linux Chicks tolerated men on the mailing list and at meetings whereas the Philly group makes it pretty clear that men aren't welcome.

From the Linux Chix FAQ: "LinuxChix is intended to be an inclusive group where everyone is and feels welcome."

From the Philly Linux Chix site: "Any women interested is invited to subscribe to our mailing list" and "Philly Chix is a group that strives to create a friendly female only question, work, collaboration and discussion forum." or "Women who have been using linux for years, who are new to linux, or who are merely curious and want a female-only environment to ask questions are all welcome to join." or "Women only please"

Does this seem inclusive to you? Do any of the guys feel welcome?
