I am trying to use a digital camera with my linux laptop. It is a Ixla Dualcam 640. It works fine with my mac, but when I try to use is with gphoto2, I get the following error: *** Error (-34: 'Error reading from the port') *** When I try using gtkam I get the following: Bad Parameters, could not list folders in '/' Could not initialize camera Both gtkam and gphoto2 recognize my camera, but they cannot access the photos. I am using the latest CVS versions of gphoto2 and gtkam. I have used other usb devices with my laptop so I don't think there is anything wrong with my usb configuration. Any suggestions? Thanks, Michael _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: smart spam protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail _________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug
