FWIW, there are some details about Lexmark and open source at
http://www.linuxprinting.org/lexmark-faq.html#free_software_support (not
the most glowing review... and I don't think the Optra label is used
anymore)

The business lasers all talk postscript, so you should be able to print
just fine on Linux. They also run embedded Linux (see
ftp://ftp.lexmark.com/swlab/gpl).
