Actually, I take that back. There is one thing Darxus showed me a while
back that was nifty. If you truly despise X and using a graphical UI of
any sort, you can make up to 24 VC's in your /etc/inittab by
extrapolating the VC lines, then do a `telinit q`, and you have left alt
one through twelve bound to left alt F1-F12 and thirteen through
twenty four bound to right alt F1-F12.

This comes in handy for, like I said before, Gentoo updates. :-)
