[PLUG] Curriculum Strategies - September 13th

computers to teach other topics... You should attend this FREE conference

Date:  Saturday, September 13, 2003
Time:  9:00 a.m. ­ 4:00 p.m.
Place: Community College of Philadelphia, Main Campus

Here is an EXAMPLE of just one of the exciting sessions to be presented:

Session Title:
Developing Curricula for Instructor-Led, Project-Based Courses

Session Description:
This session will walk participants through the steps of creating a sound
curriculum for a multiple session course. Considerations will include:
target audience, probable reading level, setting goals and objectives for
training, designing a project that addresses those goals and chunking
information to ensure smooth flow of curriculum.

Presenter:
Stephanie Thaw of Reboot Philadelphia brings quality computer training to
the un-employed and under­employed with the philosophy that "There are no
experts" in the classroom.

conference packet will be ready for you.

Note:
There will be refreshments served at the conference, but lunch is on your
own. Plan to bring a lunch, or visit the school cafeteria, or one of the
restaurants in the area.
