I have a Handspring Visor with the Visor Phone which can be used as a regular dial-up modem. Would it be worth while to set up a Linux PPP server so I can dial into my home network? It would mean dedicating a phone line for my dial-up use. Would setting this up be difficult? I am using a router. Would I need a static IP address to assign the visor, or could I simply assign it an IP address in the LAN? Thanks, Michael ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
