I really like MDK 9.1 as well. I was motivated by my distaste for
RedHat's over newbie-ized BlueCurve menus. I actually went back to
Redhat 7.2 first, but when the box it was running on started having
heat issues and was spontaneously rebooting, I retired it and Redhat.

The update process is 100% better than RHs up2date. No need to
register first; just update and go.
