Linux Systems Administrator : The Linux Systems Administrator will maintain Red Hat Linux Servers to provide optimum performance and system availability. Responsibilities include integrating Linux servers into an enterprise environment including monitoring, backup, and scheduling, overseeing remote sites on Linux issues, and defining and maintaining Linux kickstart and satellite server environments. Specific tools include Concord for monitoring, Commvault for back-up and Tidal for scheduling. The Linux SA will develop required scripts/programs for advanced administrative tasks using shell scripting, Perl, C or equivalent.

Key Qualifications: A minimum of three years of operational experience in medium to large environments; Five to seven years of previous Unix systems administration experience (Solaris preferred), with at least three years of Red Hat Linux system administration; Hands-on performance analysis and tuning of Linux environments
