Upgrading X (debian woody), I was asked if I wanted debconf to manage X config. Sure, I said, quickly backing up my old config, even though debconf assured me it would, too. Now the debconf version is substantially different, even down to options like 3-button config and monitor specs. This wasn't very nice of debconf. I might have hoped it would read my old file for values. I don't want to get into a whole mess of X config stuff, but I also know that if I now change the X config file, debconf won't know this. Anyone know how do I just tell debconf what the right params are for my X setup? -- Jeff Jeff Abrahamson <http://www.purple.com/jeff/> GPG fingerprint: 1A1A BA95 D082 A558 A276 63C6 16BF 8C4C 0D1D AE4B Attachment:
