You guys read into things too much and by doing so you miss the simple question. When typing in VIM in -INSERT- mode all characters are standard 0-127 ascii. I was asking how to type in the EXTENDED ACSII codes 128-255. I didn't need to know about setting different terminals, or all ISO characters sets. *Using a missle to kill an ant* How hard would it be for someone to say -> CTRL-V x## I notice alot of that on the PLUG list. No need to write a book when one sentence will do. If you don't know the ansewer don't complicated the problem with pointless facts. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Friends. Fun.
