Thanks, Matthew, for reminding me that I would like to someday
compile a list of all the most ridiculous things I've seen in
mailing lists.  Maybe I can get O'Reilly to publish it.

The saddest part is, this thread wouldn't even make the cut.

One would-be user of a project to which I contribute started
out a bug report something like this...

	"Your software is a f---ing piece of shit!"

To which I wanted to reply, while doing my best impression of
Randal from the movie Clerks...

	"Hey, you're not *allowed* to use my software anymore!"

Instead I just sent him a link to ESR's "How to ask...",
which I see someone has already given to you.  Read it.
