Sorry, that was not my intention. I was referring to a generic, milder,
off-list reprimand from an official list admin, and did not mean to
link that to your email or imply you were an admin.

Perhaps I did overreact a bit, if the leaving in of the PLUG sig was
unintentional. Then again, when you're top-posting, how can you tell
what's way down there on the bottom of the quoted message?

No, I usually do not unless there is some ambiguity involved. If I am
replying directly to a poster, I usually rely on the "In-Reply-To" header
and the context of the thread. It is a good practice however: I'll try
to abide by it more in my PLUG postings (rare though they are). Let me
test it out:
 
Gabriel claimed in an earlier email:

I ran this one through rot13 twice, hope that's okay with you too.
