That is expensive.  At Go Daddy, three domain names would only cost 
$53.70 for two years.  That's about 1/2 half of the amount you're paying 
now.

Why are three domain names required?  The only name I have known is 
phillylinux.org.  Just taking the .org address and transferring it to Go 
Daddy would only cost $7.95 with a one year extension, plus $8.95 for 
the second year.  So, the cost would be reduced to $17.90 for the next 
two years.  That's about 1/5 of the current cost.  At that rate, for 
$100, you could renew the name for over 10 years!

The donation idea could still be used.
