Interestingly, running gdb and sending backtrace info is what the 
program sends to the command line, along with the address of the 
developer.  (He recommended running 'gdb easytag core', then 'bt'.)  Not 
having done anything special to compile easy tag, there was no core file 
found.  bt returned nothing either.  Nobody said anything about 
compiling it differently.

Also, any reason not to send the entire gdb output?
