Re: [PLUG] UPS, 2s failures

apcupsd is logging 2 second power failures often. Is there something odd about apcupsd, my config, or my UPS?

I suspect your UPS is responding to power dips on your line and then restoring power when it detects power. You could for example have an air-conditioner, refrigerator, freezer or other heavy drawer of amps causing the UPS to respond to the small drop in voltage. Alternatively, your UPS could be responding to spikes on the line, power lines are not always clean enough and once again, it's what the UPS is supposed to do.

I don't think apcupsd is messing up, and it appears it's not causing you problems, why worry about it?

I'm not worried. I just like to investigate odd things. It _could_ have been a problem.

I didn't know the UPS was that sensitive. Maybe my logging settings could be tweaked a bit. Well, at least I know the UPS is doing more than just taking up space.
