I was trying to use the "official client", Bit Tornado.  It is a 
collection of python scripts and I untarred it to ~/bittornado.  From 
what I could gather, the only other thing to do was to add the main 
script as a helper app to Mozilla.  Never worked.  I am going to remove 
it and try Tobias' suggestion.
