(Am using gtk 1.x if that matters) BitTorrent from the package rarely (if ever) works. Its structured in such a way that it needs its libraries to be right where they are in the Bram Cohen tarball. Just download the tarball of the latest version from http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/ and untar it in your ~ somewhere and use that. That's about all you're going to be able to do. I've tried to install the package on RH, Gentoo and Debian and they all failed. I'm beginning to think that there is no testing of that package ever. - -- Tobias DiPasquale 202A 04C4 2CE6 B985 8520 88D6 CD25 1A6C B9B5 1595 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (Darwin) iD8DBQFBZWVgzSUabLm1FZURAuicAKCHxp3O3tuMyGI2kF7gNsiXru73BgCfVqra NcIsN152rOV9j82IA6b+MPA= =30Ek -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
