Re: [PLUG] Home Networking Questions/Solutions

You will have no problem with dhcp at all. The wireless router will get it's WAN address via dhcp from the wired router. In the configuration of the wireless router you tell it what range of ip adresses to give out. I'm using10.40.111.0/24 on my LAN. Any computers you connect to the wireless router will get a 10.40.111.xxx address. Any computers & the wireless router's WAN interface will get an ip for the . The linksys default is 192.168.1.xxx.

So to make my own bad ascii attempt of drawing this for you.
