I just feel posting a lot today. Another utility that you might want to try is HTML Tidy. It can validate your pages and adjust your markup automatically to comply with different standards. http://www.w3.org/People/Raggett/tidy/ There are online interfaces, but I don't have a link to one right now.

Recently, my preferences are XHTML 1.0 Transitional and utf-8.
