Re: [PLUG] OT: Vonage

I have packet 8 and if your technicly savvy it's a breeze. If your not the tech support can be hair raising. Get a battery back up for the unit that's installed, incase u lose power.

it?

I have Vonage and I like it 90%.

I have their 500 minutes plan for $15/month because I use mostly my cell
phone and work cell. I don't even use the number as much and I been
revisiting the idea of cancelling, but I like their international rates.

One bad incident happened to my cable Internet one evening. I was on the phone for about 50 minutes or more and my Internet connection dropped. I had to go and reset the cable modem and the phone adapter. I m still trying to figure out if it was Vonage or if it's Comcast. Comcast is more likely the culprit.

If you sign up for Vonage, don't forget to setup the 911 service. And you
can call other Vonage numbers for free w/o using up your minutes if you
have a cap on the minutes per month.
