Re: [PLUG] cups + samba + pagelimit

Hi,

My final goal is to have different Windows users connect to the samba shared cups driven printer and to enforce a standard pagelimit on everyone. I've followed the documenation to setup the page limit (100pages/a week(in seconds)) but there's still something funky with the user aspect. My current user setup is that I'm using smbpasswd to add users to samba (and they have a unix account) and for cups I have allow everyone. My current situation is that the demo user can login through samba to the printer and print stuff to it but it doesn't enforce the page limit and the printer box on Windows says "Access denied, unable to connect". I'm using the latest version of cups & samba. Any suggestions as to why the pagelimit isn't applying?

Cheers,
Zenko
