Yes it will work with a small modification. When you open the interface
box outside your house, there is customer access, and company access.
Company access is on the left side and opens the whole door. It opens
with a nut driver, red, yellow or blue handle, I forget which. Somewhere
in there will be a ground, fairly large guage, maybe # 6-8. Find
yourself some light guage wire[doorbell wire is good], Strip out one
strand and attach one end to the ground. Wrap your filter with the
tinfoil, leaving one end not squeezed up. Get some electrical connection
paste, squeeze fairly liberally amount into non squeezed end of tinfoil.
Stick couple inches of bared doorbell wire [other end connected to the
ground] in with the paste and squeeze tight. Take another piece of the
bell wire and wrap a few turns around it to tighten it up[twist ends
like a twist tie]. The paste allows the copper and aluminum to coexist
without corroding and makes a good connection.
