I have a 3 GHz P4, 1 GB RAM, 80 GB hard drive that I'd like to sell. MB has onboard video, sound, ethernet, and USB. It's basically new. I'm asking $500 or best offer. (I'm not sure what the price should be, but I think that's decent under the circumstances.) The story (and disclaimer): I bought this machine and subsequently had RAM problems. Running memtest86 showed occasional flakiness (1 in 3 passes generated errors). With extensive fiddling with BIOS and, eventually, just removing and reseating the RAM, the problems appear to have gone away. By this I mean that I've run memtest86 for 11 hours with no problems. Unfortunately the whole thing leaves me with a residual bad taste. So, while I strongly suspect the machine is now fine, I just don't feel like using it. It brings back bad memories... -- Jeff Jeff Abrahamson <http://www.purple.com/jeff/> +1 215/837-2287 GPG fingerprint: 1A1A BA95 D082 A558 A276 63C6 16BF 8C4C 0D1D AE4B Attachment:
