[PLUG] verizon dsl

Been away for a awhile.

Sorry if this has been discussed before.

 

Just got verizon dsl, with westfall 6100 dsl modem.

Ran through setup on my w2k box. All is well.

 

I would like to do this instead on my RedHat 9 pc (2.4.20-6)

Ran /usr/sbin/adsl-setup. No problem.

 

However adsl-start or …-connect just hang, though dsl and internet lights are green.

 

Suggestions? Roaring-penguin?
