I have to admit, this does seem like those companies that email a specific
group with things they either think or want people to buy/go to/have.

And collecting more than 1 mil addresses in 7 days (and then perhaps
more?) certanly doesn't seem to have any other use than .. spam.

This isn't the place for this...
