If you have 2 or 3 windows programs you want to use, wine is often a good idea. If wine is not suitable, the vmware player really is a good product. It is possible to create virtual machines manually for the vmplayer. See http://www.ffnn.nl/pages/articles/linux/vmware-player-image-creation.php. Examples of creating virtual machines for vmplayer abound. I used qemu to hand create windows xp and solaris 10 virtual machines, and I use them with vmplayer on a regular basis. Plus there are many really cool pre-configured virtual machines available for download. See http://www.vmware.com/vmtn/appliances. Michael On 5/6/06, Marc Zucchelli <
