Re: [PLUG] Freespire Beta Out

Nevermind. That was a dumb question. Maybe the following are better question.

Would it be worth the trouble to upgrade from the previous Kubuntu release to Kubuntu 6.06 LTS, considering that my brother barely knows how to run a computer as it is? Do apt-get upgrades give us some of the features of the new distro? Would it be worse, even though Freespire sounds better, to switch distros on him?

I'm grabbing Freespire for testing.

Why is this one free?

freespire after some testing is defiantly the easiest distro for desktops yet. It's just like the paid one but free. I feel the first real linux desktop that may bring windows users to the other side has just arrived. Free and just as easy, but without viruses. Really can't beat that deal.
