[PLUG] saving audio streams

kaffeine/xine-lib is supposed to do this, but I keep getting an error that 
media.capture.save_dir is not set and/or the save directory is not set.

Nothing in the man page for kaffiene nor xine-lib.  My friend, google, is a 
bit stand-off-ish on this one.  I could also use totem, mplayer, xmms, xine 
or anything else anyone can suggest.
