Re: [PLUG] R32 ate own hard drive -- recommendations for new purchase?

I love macs, but... I was weary of intel mac books as I heard they were a little buggy when they first came out. The next gen models probably ironed out the hardware bugs, and the software side might be better with time too.

My biggest concern is if they run old classic OS 9 apps like Photoshop (built in the RISC days). Not just run them, but run them stable. Not quite ready to buy a new version of photoshop. Plan to rock version 5 forever!

I have been very happy with my PPC Mac powerbook. After taking a look at the new MacBook Pro, I'm sure it will just be a matter of months before I purchase one. The power connector just oozes smart design. Not to keep kissing Mac iAss(TM), but they are very solid and I have been extremely impressed with the design and reliability of the machine. Worth every penny.

I recently acquired an hp nc6400 (won it in a raffle) and edgy eft
runs great on it. The laptop itself is rock solid and great as an all
around laptop (and pretty light too). However, I would highly consider
the macbook/pro if I was going to buy one outright.
