Hi all,

yesterday, I installed Nistnet on my PC with Centos 2.6.9-42.0.2.EL. The Nistnet requires RTC module to run which my PC was not detecting. I tried to load the Real time clock support module by doing make menuconfig and choosing RTC under /devicedrivers/characterdevices/Realtime clock. Then I loaded this as a module by pressing M on the menu, exited the menuconfigu, saved the changes and did a make modules_install. When i reboot, now, the system gives many errors at boot time like intel microcode.ko not found, sunrpc.ko not found, irq balance failed and additionally, the ethernet port wont get recognized. when i try doing modprobe 8139too.ko, it says not module not found. The module is very much there under /lib/modules and it is not a file with 0 size or simlink or something. I also did depmod -a and the modprobe 8139too.ko but this too does not help........ Please help....
I have many servers running on this pc .The Ethernet settings under /etc/sysconfig/ifcon_eth0 is intact but I get the error message Device eth0 has a different mac address than expected, ignoring. Please let me know how to get the system back to the older state ASAP......

Thank You,
Bubbly
