As far as I can see, if the IE in wine approach works, why not use that? Adding a VM or setting up a diual boot system is a vastly greater effot. If you're only using it to browse inside your company's network, it shouldn't be so bad. It's highly doubtful you will get your linux apps to connect through the VPN in wine, but perhaps it might be possible to figure out a way if some more details could be provided. Attachment:
