Hi:
I am doing somewhat of a "career" shift, from IBM AIX to Redhat Linux. I was wondering what would a Linux admin do? I will be working in a large company with about 1k servers. What kind of hardware is used for Linux (x86) based. Is there anything I should know before I dive in? How is a typical Linux shop? What kind of tools are used?
TIA!
