Disclaimer: I work for EMC, but I'm not in sales. But here comes the sales pitch.... ;) I'm not sure what kind of scale you're looking at here, but you may want to take a look at the recently GA'ed EMC NS20. It's NAS (NFS/CIFS), iSCSI, and FC SAN (optional) in one integrated box, and is designed to be setup quickly & easily by the customer. The Control Station (integrated management server) runs Linux; The Datamovers (integrated clustered fileserver appliances) run a proprietary OS. http://www.emc.com/products/networking/servers/ns20/index.jsp Price/Performance is better than NetApp, and you get EMC support.
