I use Moneydance and prefer it over Quicken.  Every program has its
idiosyncracies but MD is more than acceptable (IMHO - Quicken is not in
that category).  Online banking is available within MoneyDance.  Many US
banks work but not all.  If you can get the OFX connection information,
it will work.

There are extensions (Python-based IIRC) as well for stock quotes,
currency rates, etc...

While it is not OSS, Sean Reilly definitely supports the community.
There is a wiki & mail list (which is relatively active 50 msgs or
so/week).
