Re: [PLUG] things taken too far? (was Re: Community standards)

Brent I was joking, note the smiley :). I was referring to the post not you. As far as the text message goes, IMHO that's weird/creepy unless it's a joke. So not fill peoples box with unnecessary stuff I think we are done.

Subject: [PLUG] things taken too far? (was Re: Community standards)

hate to beat a dead horse...

but can anyone explain to me why i received an anonymous text message routed through mobile-sender.com from a "linuxgurl" that says "I will foobar you after the next PLUG meeting"?

i made a mistake, i wasn't thinking of how what i said may impact people. (i think i'm the youngest one on this list. for what it's worth, i feel the most immature, even though i wasn't the one to initially mention strippers)
i apologised when i recognized what i said hurt some people. at least i was mature enough to do that.

so is it really necessary to give me physical threats (at least i THINK it was a threat... "foobar" by itself is ambiguous and meant to be such. if they meant FUBAR, i'd be worried)? anonymously, at that? AFTER i admitted i was wrong and apologised?

i should just stick to ##linux on freenode. honestly, people. let's just cut the crap.
