seconded. it's not GPL, but it DOES work
(make sure you're using the "nvidia-driver" drivername and NOT the "nv" driver. THE "nv" DRIVER DOES NOT WORK WITH NEWER NVIDIA CARDS! search the gentoo-wiki; they have AMAZING nvidia documentation and howto's)
