oh boy oh boy

VIM derivative of vi
why:
1) emacs is so annoying that I block it from being installed even by accident
on my systems
2) vim is quick
3) it or it's ancesstor are installed on just about any linux system
4) it has nice facilities for coding such as syntax highlighting
5) it has easy/quick manouvering and editing thanks to the command/editing
modes and logical key commands

why not:
1) you like carpel tunnel
2) you enjoy being unproductive (perhaps you are also a gnome user)
3) you think a text editor needs tetris
4) you don't like hitting escape
5) you think big is better when it comes to text editors
