And this can be the most difficult part of any migration.  This stuff is 
rarely built from scratch, and is often built on some older generation 
technology, like older Access runtimes and such.  It often even presents 
problems in windows because of incompatible dlls.  To top it off, this is the 
software that users seem the most dependent upon.
