The centos faq has some info on this. I think you install the centos version of yum from rpm, but its been a while since I have done this so def. check the faq first.

May be this is a stupid question but I am wondering where and how do I get the repository file for Redhat Enterprise 5.1 if I want to use CentOS repo instead how can I do that?
