As far as I know suse 7.0 does not use rpm but uses only two forms of YAST. This machine is probably not upgradable. I programmed it with what I programmed it with because I did not get more recent, of the time, Linux releases to work with the video card. I admit that I was in a hurry at the time as my previous machine, a 486 that I had been nursing for years, simply dropped dead. bs On Sun, 2 Mar 2008, Michael Schultheiss wrote: > schwepes@netaxs.com wrote: > > Suse uses rpm now? > > SUSE has used RPM for years. > ___________________________________________________________________________ > Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org > Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce > General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug > ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
