My TomTom One doesn't ask me to acknowledge that I know what I am doing when I turn it on. Also, it runs Linux, source code is available and it can be hacked (http://opentom.org). No, just because I can hack it doesn't mean that I have hacked it. Major annoyance is that the PC connection software is Windows. I have seen it on sale for around $150 - I paid around $240 for it, and thought I was getting a good deal because it had been on sale for more, but prices have been coming down steadily on GPS. -- Bhaskar On Tue, Apr 1, 2008 at 8:13 PM, Casey Bralla <MailList@nerdworld.org> wrote: > I am planning on getting a GPS unit for my car.
