Nah, I think your right. However Drexel doesn't make the blackboard software and trying to get faculty to change to using something else would would probably be a disaster. I would like to welcome you to the future career you've signed yourself up for. Businesses will not make the "best" decisions during your career, but rather the decisions that keep management happy, keep the developers from complaining, keep the system admins on their toes, and eventually lead to you pulling all your hair out. This is literally how *most* companies do things, and while it's not right, it's just how it is.
At least Drexel is doing a decent job of keeping you guessing now rather than throw you to the wolves when you get out of school. :)
