I use:

Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 2.0 Generic

for my photos. That means no adaptation or derivation of my work; your
license would allow others to modify and adapt the logo, to suit their
own purposes. Suppose someone wished to make a pornographic version
($DIETY knows why :-)) of the PLUG logo; this license allows that, as
long as they only use it for non-commercial use.

A bit more to think over, as if we don't have enough actually
important things to fire our synapses at ... :-)
