Sprint is selling this appliance called an Airwave. It looks like a wireless AP, and plugs into your internet router. It is like a personal tower for your cell phones, and carries the signal as VoIP. It is being marketed as a landline replacement. Costs $100 to buy and $5/month to use if you are using your cellular minutes. If you want the VoIP calls to be unlimited, you pay an additional $20/month. I have heard they work really well. Most calls I want these days come into my cell phone. Reception in my house is inconsistent. Anyone have any real world experience with these? ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
