Anything new/just released that you buy will most likely lag Linux support unless it's a graphics chipset that has already been out for awhile. Has anyone actually tracked video memory under Linux; it's got to be low and under utilized. Purchasing a 256MB-1GB PCI-Express video card seem like a waist for a Linux only system. Of course if you are going to dual boot Vista then 256mb is the minimum for Aero support. -------------------------------------------------- Brian Vagnoni PGP Digital Fingerprint F076 6EEE 06E5 BEEF EBBD BD36 F29E 850D FC32 3955 -------------------------------------------------- ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
