I just switched from Verizon to T-Mobile and got the MyTouch, and I have to say I definitely like it. I've rooted it and installed the Cyanogen mod ROM, and it's pretty nice. It does direct IMAP, has a nice selection of apps, supports wireless tethering (after rooting), and as for 'cloud' issues it is possible to disable it syncing with Google. Since it sounds like you are looking for a hard keyboard I'd say look into the G1. It has a bit less storage space, but after rooting you can store apps on the MicroSD card so that's not quite as bad a concern as it would otherwise be. --Gordon ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
