Actually, Duplicity uses rsync.  It can also use S3, Webdav, scp, and
other transfer mechanisms.  I highly recommend it.

I use rsync.net and both rsync my files there, as well as run
Duplicity locally and then rsync up the Duplicity archives.  That
gives me mirroring of my filesystem plus the ability to "go back in
time" with Duplicity. :-)
