Re: [PLUG] Blast from the past - Handspring Visor

I think I have some visor accessories in the closet.  I know I have a leather case and some extra styli.  Perhaps I still have my cell phone springboard module.  Gotta look.

Hi folks,

So, I've just inherited an all-but-new Handspring Visor.
I used one years ago and loved it, but it eventually lost
its digitizer calibration, and couldn't maintain recalibration.
I'm pretty sure everything I had for it before is gone.

Since I see people offering up archaic equipment on here
from time to time, I thought I'd ask...

Before I start bidding on Ebay items, does anyone out there
have any springboard modules they'd like to see go to a
good home?  :-)

I'm especially interested in a wifi module, and a Targus
stowaway keyboard.  (I'm hoping this thing will support
ssh?)

OK.  Now I'll put in some earplugs and sing 80's songs to
myself while y'all laugh at me :-)

Thanks,

PS - I've got what you might call a limited budget.  If anyone
ever splurged for the VisorPhone, and wants to pass it on,
I could even pretend I have a smart phone... that is, until
the AAA batteries run out :-D
