Wow, checkinstall has come a long ways!

When it works, it's a good deal simpler than my method. Unfortunately
for me, my method still works best on that 'other' os I use a lot...

Still, this is pretty cool. I completely forgot about it... I really
need to spend some time and reevaluate it.
