At U Penn, it's a _lot_ of red tape for us to make donations to a 'random' group. Instead, our working equipment is given to, iirc, Digital Divide. If you can get in touch with them (or Elemental - we use them for tech trash pickups) it might work to ear mark some things, give them to Digital Divide, who in turn gives them to BSoA.
